The show took place from September 12-14, 2016 and was held at Pier 48 in San Francisco. As in years past, it was very well attended by industry luminaries and press as it's one of the premier technology event in the world. As stated on its website, TechCrunch Disrupt is the world's leading authority in debuting revolutionary startups, introducing game-changing technologies and discussing what's top of mind for the tech industry's key innovators.
One of the advantages this opportunity provided to both Intero and Kukun was the fact that we were the only companies that were exhibiting in the real estate section of Startup Alley. This obviously was a huge win as our presence was the only solution that appealed to anyone interested in real estate technology.
Who is Kukun?
Kukun (pronounced “cocoon”) is a distinctive home renovation platform that allows clients to gain estimated costs for additions, renovations and expansions that are personalized for a specific address. In addition, users have the ability to choose from a single-room renovation, such as a bathroom or kitchen, or can combine multiple rooms to obtain the total renovation costs. Also, after consumers review the estimate for their specific address, they can choose to send it out for bids and receive three proposals from vetted, licensed contractors in the area.
