Out of the Frying Pan and Into the Fire!

Former chef and ballerina, Linda Hymes, joins Intero's Woodside office Cupertino, California – (July 16, 2012) – What can give an agent an edge in a red-hot real estate market is often the host of other talents they may bring to the table.  As an award-winning author, Le Cordon Bleu chef, and former professional ballerina, Linda Hymes is sure to offer clients a different perspective on home buying.

Linda will be working with Alain Pinel, senior vice president of Intero Real Estate Services, in the new Woodside office.  “I’m thrilled to have the opportunity to learn from Alain and look forward to working with him in the luxury markets of Woodside, Portola Valley, Atherton, and Menlo Park,” she says.

According to Pinel, “Linda’s intercultural experience couldn’t be more suited to Intero. With the challenges of today’s real estate market and the influx of foreign buyers, her creative energy and language skills will be a great asset to our Woodside office.”  However, it is not only her international scope that will add value to Intero, but also her persistent self-improvement.  “I was impressed by the level and accessibility of education at Intero to help refresh my skills. I can always learn something new,” said Linda.

An appreciation of fine building was cultivated during five years in France hosting gourmet, architectural tours. Years of property management and work with her husband, custom builder and property investor Derek Gaffney, on projects ranging from remodeling and new builds to the present restoration of a 100 year old fairytale-like castle in Portola Valley has given Linda a unique perspective.  “My background allows me to quickly visualize a property’s potential,” says Hymes.  A resident of Woodside, Linda looks forward to helping relocate and welcome new families to the neighborhood with Intero Realty.
